Instructions

  3. Add heavy cream and seasonings: Slowly whisk in the heavy cream to avoid lumps. Stir in salt, black pepper, dried oregano, dried basil, and red pepper flakes if using. Mixing well ensures an even distribution of flavors.
  4. Thicken the sauce: Continue cooking the mixture over medium heat while whisking continuously for 5–7 minutes. This process helps the sauce thicken to a creamy consistency suitable for spreading on pizza dough.
