For the Salad:
- 3.4 ounces instant vanilla pudding mix
- ¾ cup whole milk
- 8 ounces Cool Whip or 1 cup heavy whipping cream, beaten to stiff peaks
- 5 Granny Smith apples, cored and chopped (reserve 1 for garnish)
- 5 Snickers bars, chopped into bite-sized pieces (reserve 1 for garnish)
For Garnish:
- 1 Granny Smith apple, thinly sliced
- 1 Snickers bar, chopped
- ¼ cup caramel sauce (optional)
- Prepare the Salad Base: In a large bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and milk until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping (Cool Whip) or whipped cream.
- Prep the Fruits: Core and chop 5 of the apples. Toss with lemon juice or 7-Up if making the salad in advance. Pat dry.
- Prepare the Snickers: Chop 5 Snickers bars into bite-sized pieces.
- Combine Ingredients: Fold in the chopped apples and Snickers into the pudding mixture. Mix until well combined.
- Chill and Serve: Cover the salad and refrigerate until ready to serve. Just before serving, top with the reserved apple and Snickers. Drizzle with caramel sauce if desired.
