Ingredients

Scale

Spread

  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp freshly cracked black pepper

Sliders

  • 12 brioche rolls
  • 12 oz. sliced smoked turkey
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Garlic Butter Topping

  • 3 tbsp salted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp chives, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) to prepare for baking the sliders.
  2. Prepare the spread: In a small bowl, mix together the Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, lemon juice, and freshly cracked black pepper until smooth and well combined.
  3. Prepare the rolls: Slice the brioche rolls in half lengthwise, carefully removing the tops in one piece. Lay the bottom halves flat on a baking sheet.
  4. Assemble the sliders: Evenly spread the Dijon-mayo mixture on each bottom bun. Arrange the smoked turkey slices on top, folding each slice to fit comfortably on the bun. Then sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the turkey layer.
  5. Add the tops: Place the removed top halves of the rolls onto the sliders to form sandwiches.
  6. Make the garlic butter: Melt the salted butter in a small saucepan or microwave. Stir in the minced garlic and chopped chives until well distributed.
  7. Brush and bake: Generously brush the tops of the sliders with the garlic butter. Cover the entire baking sheet with foil and bake on the lowest oven rack for 15 minutes.
  8. Finish baking uncovered: Remove the foil, brush a second layer of garlic butter over the tops, and bake uncovered for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is fully melted and the tops are golden.
  9. Serve: Remove from the oven and serve the sliders immediately while warm and melty. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Use brioche rolls for a soft, slightly sweet texture that complements the smoky turkey.
  • Feel free to swap mozzarella with provolone or Swiss cheese for a different flavor.
  • If you prefer more heat, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or hot sauce to the Dijon mayo mixture.
  • These sliders can be assembled ahead of time and refrigerated; just add garlic butter and bake right before serving.
  • For easier cleanup, line your baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
