  • About 1.5 to 1.75 pounds skin-on salmon fillet

Buttery Mixture:

  • 1 lemon, sliced into thin rounds
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice, from about 1 lemon
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons honey
  • 5 cloves garlic, finely pressed or minced; or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt, or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, or to taste
  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh parsley, optional for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 375F.
  2. Prepare the Salmon: Place the salmon on a sheet of foil with the skin-side down.
  3. Prepare the Buttery Mixture: Melt the butter in a microwave-safe dish and mix in lemon juice, honey, and garlic.
  4. Coat the Salmon: Pour most of the buttery mixture over the salmon and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Bake: Seal the foil and bake the salmon for about 17 minutes.
  6. Broil: Open the foil packet, spoon the reserved buttery mixture over the salmon, and broil for 5-10 minutes.
  7. Garnish and Serve: Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • You can adjust the amount of garlic and honey according to your taste preferences.
  • Make sure to seal the foil tightly to keep the salmon moist.
  • Watch the salmon closely while broiling to prevent overcooking.
