An indulgent and layered dessert lasagne featuring the rich flavors of Lotus Biscoff biscuits and spread, combined with whipped cream, vanilla, and sugar to create a creamy, crunchy treat perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale

Biscuits

  • 4 packets of Lotus Biscoff biscuits (about 240 grams)

Cream Mixture

  • 1 carton (300ml) thickened cream
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Dash of vanilla extract

Spread

  • 1 jar (about 375 grams) Lotus Biscoff spread

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cream: Add the thickened cream, sugar, and vanilla extract into a mixing bowl. Whisk the mixture until soft peaks form, meaning the cream is thick and slightly stiff, but still smooth and creamy.
  2. Soften the Biscoff Spread: Place the Lotus Biscoff spread in a microwave-safe bowl and heat it in the microwave for about 30 seconds until it softens to a drizzle-worthy consistency.
  3. Layer the Biscuits: Cover the base of a baking dish with a layer of full Lotus Biscoff biscuits, ensuring the bottom is fully covered to form the foundation of the dessert.
  4. First Cream and Spread Layer: Spoon a layer of the whipped cream mixture evenly over the biscuit base. Follow this with a generous drizzle of the warmed Biscoff spread on top to add richness and flavor.
  5. Repeat the Layers: Repeat the layering process three more times, alternating the biscuit layer, cream, and Biscoff spread, making sure to end with a final layer of cream on top.
  6. Create Decorative Pattern: Scoop any leftover Biscoff spread into a piping bag and pipe thin lines across the top layer of cream. Use a toothpick or skewer to drag through the lines, creating a triangular pattern for an attractive finish.
  7. Final Touch: Crush any remaining Lotus Biscoff biscuits into crumbs and sprinkle them around the edge of the dessert to add texture and decoration. Chill the dessert in the fridge for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the layers to set and flavors to meld.

Notes

  • Use chilled thickened cream for best whipping results.
  • Microwave times may vary; heat the Biscoff spread just until soft enough to drizzle.
  • For a firmer dessert, refrigerate for longer than 2 hours.
  • To add a personal twist, sprinkle some toasted nuts or chocolate shavings on top.
  • This dessert can be prepared a day in advance and stored covered in the refrigerator.
