  • 2 lbs chicken tenders (or thinly sliced chicken breast or thighs)
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Pasta and Sauce

  • 1 lb angel hair pasta (cooked al dente)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (or cooking oil of choice)
  • 1 red bell pepper (sliced into thin strips)
  • 1 yellow bell pepper (sliced into thin strips)
  • 1 green bell pepper (sliced into thin strips)
  • 1 red onion (sliced into thin strips)
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 5 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 ½ cups chicken broth (store bought or homemade)
  • ½ cup dry white wine (or sub with chicken broth)
  • ⅔ cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

Garnish

  • Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • Fresh basil (finely chopped)
  • Fresh parsley (finely chopped)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken – In a large shallow dish, combine the flour, salt, pepper and Italian seasoning. Coat the chicken tenders in the flour mixture and pan fry until cooked through.
  2. Prepare the Pasta and Sauce – Cook the angel hair pasta al dente. Sauté peppers and onion, add garlic, wine, broth, cream, and seasonings. Toss cooked pasta in sauce, then top with chicken.

Notes

  • You can customize the vegetable mix in the sauce based on your preferences.
  • For a lighter version, you can use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
