These Nashville Hot Chicken Cheesesteaks are a spicy twist on the classic Philly sandwich, featuring juicy chicken thighs, melted cheese, and a zesty Nashville hot mayo.

For the Nashville Hot Mayo:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 3 tablespoons McCormick® Grill Mates® Nashville Hot Chicken Seasoning, divided

For the Chicken Cheesesteaks:

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-size chunks
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
  • 4 slices pepper Jack cheese
  • 2 (8- to 10-inch) hoagie rolls, toasted
  • Dill pickle slices

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Nashville Hot Mayo: In a small bowl, mix mayo, lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon of the Nashville Hot Chicken Seasoning. Cover and set aside.
  2. Cook the Chicken: Toss chicken with oil and remaining 2 tablespoons Nashville Hot Chicken Seasoning. Cook on a hot flat top grill until done.
  3. Sauté Peppers and Onions: On the grill, cook peppers and onions until softened. Combine with cooked chicken and cheese.
  4. Assemble the Cheesesteaks: Divide the chicken mixture into hoagie rolls. Top with pickle slices and Nashville hot mayo.
  5. Serve: Cut the chicken cheesesteaks in half and enjoy!
