Dry Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
Wet Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tbsp lemon zest
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
For Glaze:
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy in a large bowl.
- Add eggs one at a time, then mix in lemon juice, zest, and vanilla extract.
- Stir in flour and salt until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 22–25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool completely in the pan before adding glaze.
- For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, lemon juice, and zest until smooth.
- Spread glaze evenly over cooled brownies and chill for 15 minutes before slicing.
