A simple and comforting Easy Ranch Chicken Crockpot recipe perfect for busy nights. Tender chicken breasts are slow-cooked with ranch seasoning, cream cheese, garlic powder, and chicken broth to create a creamy, flavorful dish that’s fuss-free and delicious.

Ingredients

Scale

Chicken

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts

Seasonings

  • 1 oz packet dry ranch dressing mix
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Other Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Rinse the chicken breasts and pat them dry. Optionally, cut the chicken into one-inch pieces to ensure even cooking and easier serving.
  2. Layer in Crockpot: Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot. Evenly spread the softened cream cheese over the chicken. Sprinkle the dry ranch seasoning mix and garlic powder on top. Pour the low-sodium chicken broth over all the ingredients to help keep the chicken moist.
  3. Cook: Cover the crockpot and set it to low heat for 6 to 8 hours, or choose high heat for 3 to 4 hours. Cook until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C), ensuring it is fully cooked and tender. Once done, stir gently to combine the flavors before serving.

Notes

  • For creamier texture, stir the mixture halfway through cooking if possible.
  • You can shred the chicken after cooking for use in sandwiches, salads, or wraps.
  • Adjust seasonings to taste, adding extra garlic powder or ranch mix for bolder flavor.
  • Serve with rice, pasta, or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
  • Make sure to use low-sodium chicken broth to control salt levels, especially for sodium-sensitive diets.
