Ingredients

Scale

Sliders

  • 1 (12 count) package slider rolls
  • 1 lb. cooked chicken tenders
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 12 slices provolone cheese

Garlic-Parmesan Butter

  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh grated Parmesan cheese

Garnish

  • Chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F. Prepare a large baking sheet by covering it with parchment paper for easy cleanup or spray it lightly with non-stick spray.
  2. Prepare the slider rolls: Using a large knife, carefully slice the entire package of slider rolls in half horizontally to create tops and bottoms. Place the bottom halves on the prepared baking sheet and set the top halves aside.
  3. Layer cheese and chicken: Place 6 slices of provolone cheese evenly on the bottom halves of the slider rolls. Shred the cooked chicken tenders by hand and distribute them generously over the cheese. Spoon marinara sauce over the chicken, covering each slider, then top with another slice of provolone cheese.
  4. Top the sliders: Place the top halves of the slider rolls on each slider to complete the sandwich.
  5. Prepare garlic-parmesan butter: In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sea salt, minced garlic, and grated Parmesan cheese until well combined.
  6. Brush the tops: Generously brush the garlic-parmesan butter mixture over the tops of the slider rolls to ensure full coverage and added flavor.
  7. Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the sliders for 15-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese has melted.
  8. Serve: Remove the sliders from the oven, sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired, serve warm, and enjoy your delicious chicken parm sliders!

Notes

  • For easy cleanup, use parchment paper on the baking sheet.
  • Shredding the chicken by hand helps distribute the meat evenly on each slider.
  • Feel free to add extra marinara sauce if you like your sliders more saucy.
  • To make these sliders spicier, add red pepper flakes to the marinara sauce or garlic butter.
  • These sliders are great for parties and can be made ahead and reheated before serving.
