Ingredients

Scale

Buffalo Chicken Mixture

  • 2 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup ranch dressing
  • ¼ cup buffalo sauce, homemade or store bought
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • ¼ cup celery, diced
  • 1 cup crumbled blue cheese, or feta cheese

Topping & Assembly

  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, freshly shredded
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, minced
  • 1 pack (12 rolls) Hawaiian bread rolls, sliced in half lengthwise

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Prepare Buffalo Chicken Mix: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the softened cream cheese and ranch dressing until smooth. Stir in the buffalo sauce, minced garlic, and salt until well combined. Gently fold in the shredded chicken, diced celery, and crumbled blue cheese to evenly distribute all ingredients.
  3. Make Butter Topping: In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter and fresh minced parsley to create a flavorful brush-on topping.
  4. Assemble Sliders: Place the bottom halves of the Hawaiian rolls on the prepared baking sheet, keeping them connected. Evenly spread the buffalo chicken mixture over the rolls, then sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top. Cover with the top halves of the rolls and brush the melted butter and parsley mixture evenly over the tops.
  5. Bake to Perfection: Bake the sliders for 15-18 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the mozzarella cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and garnish with additional minced parsley. Serve immediately with ranch dressing or extra buffalo sauce on the side if desired.

Notes

  • Best served immediately to avoid soggy buns.
  • If storing leftovers in the refrigerator, reheat in a 350-degree oven for 4-5 minutes to re-melt the cheese and warm through.
  • Use fresh mozzarella for the best melting texture and flavor.
  • Customize heat level by adjusting the amount of buffalo sauce.
