A delicious and easy-to-make Apple Delight dessert that combines a buttery graham cracker crust with a creamy and sweet apple pie filling, topped with a fluffy Cool Whip layer and crunchy pecans.

For the Crust

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 Tablespoons light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 7 Tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

For the Filling

  • 1 package cream cheese, softened (8 ounce)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 container Cool Whip, thawed, divided (16 ounce)
  • 2 cans apple pie filling (21 ounce each)
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. For the crust: Combine graham cracker crumbs with brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter until evenly coated. Press firmly into the bottom of a 13×9 baking dish. Freeze while preparing the filling.
  2. For the filling: Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in half of the Cool Whip. Spread this mixture over the frozen crust.
  3. Spoon apple pie filling over the cream cheese layer, arranging the apple slices evenly.
  4. Top with the remaining Cool Whip. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  5. Before serving, sprinkle with chopped pecans if desired. Serve cold.
